Goodell can’t further suspend because they’ve appealed, Peter — the suspension itself is suspended until the appeals process takes place.

Just look at what happened with fatass Pat Williams in Minnesota. Suspended under the league’s anti-doping policy in 2008, appealed in court, and didn’t serve his suspension until 2011. Let’s hope the same happens for Hargrove.

If that were the case, Hargrove would simply drop his appeal if the court case went beyond week 8 and resume playing. Same thing if it goes to a 3rd party arbitrator. He plays until the ruling is modified or overturned.
