With the exception of Raji, (if he doesn’t play like last year that is) Hardrove will be a upgrade over everybody. Pickett will be better against the run but I believe you’re way off about Hargrove.

No big loss, in my opinion. He was a 4-3 DE. Who knows what he’d do in pass coverage as an OLB?

I’d buy that. But D Bell might have been a decent pick up. Saturday was needed (badly) And Hargrove will be lucky to make the team. Maybe as a back up…maybe.

That’s not true. He’s not rated anywhere (seriously) as a 1st Rounder. I’d worry more about positioning in Rd 2 if we really wanted him. We’d need to take some picks (non-compensatory) and do our best to trade up to the first half of Round 1 to have a shot at him.

That means that the Shea and Clay party at the QB is still a possibility!! Also, let’s not forget that better play on the D Line is the real goal this offseason. We already have Brad Jones, Vic So’oto and others to apply some pressure in schemes. Get some more studs up front and we’ll be fine on the back end.
