I actually think the opposite I could see ted trade up to grab a buy like ingram and if not that, trade up in the 2nd to nab a guy. My dream for that would be Perry first round and Worthy early 2nd

On another note….

I want TT to help me pick out my next wife.

He can help me stay disciplined in my approach, overcome the temptation and avoid the really expensive ones that don’t pan out – they put out really well for a couple of years and then once they get that big contract, they turn into absolute humps and you wonder what the fuck it was that you saw in them in the first place that made you chase them.

I think his draft and develop approach will be spot on in this pursuit – you find hidden talent everyone else overlooked, they’re happy just to get a chance to be there and you get the opportunity to coach ‘em up!

If TT holds to his average, those 12 picks are going to yield 6-7 players that will play in the NFL. He will pay them roughly what he would spend on 2 name free agents in the same 4 year time period and with football being the war of attrition that it is, I like the approach of having the bodies to step up without the big fall off in talent.

If I remember right, the Packers won a Super Bowl that way and Teddy’s gonna get to restock the shelves with D, and D, and D.

This could be an epic draft for the Packers. If TT has a great draft, the Packers could dominate for years. If he has a poor draft, then the decline will surely come.

Another reason to let guys go in free agency and not pick anyone up.

I would appose the trade down. We have a surplus of picks this year, and we have [at the moment] two glaring needs in DE and OLB, with possible needs in safety and cornerback. We don’t need to stock up on 2nd and 3rd round picks.

It’s not flashy FA signings, but we’re seeing aggressive TT at work, and I believe that he will continue that in the draft, and if there’s top talent within reach in the first round, he may pull the trigger.

Love it… Chances are that we might just trade out of our 1st roud pick as well for the second round and stock pile the second and third rounds. This draft is loaded with great players on defense. Hopefully we get a few of them.
