I think the Packers were willing to trade the compensatory pick there were getting for Jenkins walking. Then, it would sort of be like getting something for nothing.

The price has ballooned to a 3rd rounder OR two picks, and that is too rich for our blood.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him in a Packers uniform. He is better then other late round quarterbacks and is better then Graham Harrel. I’d put good money on coach McCarthy’s ability to turn him into a decent quarterback. However, the price needs to be right, no need to have a backup making that type of money.

Timmy in NYC! the Jets just signed Sanchez to a new contract (proving once again they’re a bunch of dumb assholes), so as of now Jesus Himself will be just a backup. Can’t wait for New Yorkers chanting TE-BOW after Mark’s first 3-INTs-game of the season (which means, like, week 2 or 3).

Anyways, I don’t hate on the guy, but i’m happy he’s not coming to Green Bay.
