- Lined up on linebackers he produced.
- Steady hands yes absolutely, but he isnt nr. 3 anymore and at his age he is one injury away from being retired.
- Keeping him would be potentially be throwing away one of 2 (maybe 3) promising new WR’s…

Driver is the perfect role model; smart, a team player, family man and Packer for life (HOF)…All im saying is this; he has been an inspiration and the pride of the pack for years…let him have his final days in tv shows sporting that giant smile, let the young ones play now and bring him back in the capability he’s best suited for…as WR coach.

Pretty amazing for a guy who languished on the Packers’ practice squad for years. I remember going to a Packer practice like 15 years ago and saying, “Who is this #80 guy? Donald Driver? WTF?”

I totally agree with Monty that DD and Maria will be the only thing worth watching out of this cast.

Doing DWS and saying you’ll take a pay cut to play with GB is the same as holding a team hostage for 6 yrs talking about retiring.

Plus dancing is as good as any preseason training for football, he will stay in great shape and have some fun.

You talk about him like he did nothing last year, he is as solid #3 as any in the NFL and vs the Giants when no other wr could catch a ball that hit their hands DD was the only one who produced. His leadership in the locker room is invaluable and to cut him would be a huge blow to the team and wr corps.

This need to be transferred to players like Greg Jennings in the near future. Love DD for his contributions to the Pack and all he does for charity.

We do need to replace him eventually (in the next year or so), however he is still a clutch receiver and needs to be given his fair shake when competing for the job.
