I love Cliffy… For so many years he has been a great player and dedicated to the Packer brand. However, know when to say when, buddy. You’ve been a great player, but the defensive kids are getting younger, stronger, and a heck of a lot faster. Just look at the 40 splits from the combine. Crazy how 350 lb DT’s are running sub 5 second 40′s.

Clifton is a great player but like you said his best days are behind him. He just can’t stay healthy for a full season.

Clifton should be cut. If he really is “pain free” then he should accept a low salary, incentive laden contract to see what he has got left.
