Newhouse is the left tackle practically by default at the moment. He did well in the rematch against JPP. I’ll give him that. Obviously, he needs to improve his footwork, or the Packers will have no choice but to move on from him.

A broken leg is a tricky thing. Sometimes breaks are better than ligament damage. Jordan Gross suffered a similar injury two years ago, and he was able to return the following year and play well. But Gross was already a good player before the injury, and every injury is different.

I think it is fair to say the Packers would be “lucky” if Sherrod were a contributor next season.
