You didn't have to be Nostradomus to predict this one. The MVP typically is awarded to a player on the best team. The Offensive POY is a more stats based award, and no surprise there either, though it is kind of funny that A-Rodge was Offensive Player of the Month a preposterous 3 out of the 4 months of the season, and yet wasn't the POY.

This award was won in the first 10 weeks, when A-Rodge was playing the position at a level that I don't think has ever been seen before. Unfortunately, he was not able to maintain that level and was a great but more ordinary QB down the stretch, starting with the game against the Bucs.

Unlike Brett, hopefully A-Rodge's rings will ultimately outnumber his MVPs.

I think it is well deserved, Rodgers was outstanding in so many categories. Though I can't help but think that Eli deserved a look in too, more so than Brees. He might not have been as accurate but he did well against the Pack.

Yes, well deserved. I hoped, but I had some fear. (Hey, Iltarion, you were right again! The record won out, although I'm sure my post on the forum was read by all 48 yes voters....)

WAY TO GO AARON! Classy as always when he spoke; he respectfully embarassed Peyton Manning with praise, and thanking the 49ers for passing on him was HILARIOUS!!! I dug how Alec's first act was to have Rodgers sign a ball.

GO PACK GO!

That being said, as a FEMALE Green Bay fan who is pleased that the Packers QB is hot on and off the field, I am aghast at how bad Aaron's hair looked tonight! TIVO time that, TP staff! Holy cow did he get some just before the show, have Destiny's hands all up in it & didn't have time to do something with that hair before he had to be in his seat??? Can the man not afford a decent hair cut, or did he get a last minute one in Indy at Fantastic Sam's?

And before all you hairy legs start giving me shit, please reflect on all the cheerleader drooling on this sight over the years. And while you should be proud your women are paying more attention & becoming more knowledgeable about football, you must acknowledge that this has occurred in the last couple of seasons related to the hotness of players like Aaron Rodgers, Clay Matthews, and Greg Jennings.

Also, big shout out to Randall Cobb. Happy he gave props to John Kuhn!
