Perhaps spurred by nothing other than boredom, I have watched both games today, and I have changed my mind.

It has actually been nice sitting here and seeing teams play some defense versus what the Packers v. Saints would have been.

Alex Smith has only 5 completions as we start the 4th quarter, but props to the San Fran defense for actually knowing how to tackle. It is refreshing to see.

The Giants finished 27th in defense.

I agree though, when the Packers were dropping passes, fumbling the football, and missing wide open receivers, the Giants defense was very effective.

I am hoping for a Patroits v. Giants rematch with the Patriots getting revenge. That is the only story line that interests me now.
