Starks was a problem child that Bennett got focused and on the field to win us a f-ing SB. That is the definition of Coaching! Had Starks not played at all or left the team you would have a point.

Second, you really want to blame Bennett for the drops. Catching of the football is taught in 5th grade level–not in the NFL. Players still have to perform.

Finallly, go watch some game film and tell me if you can find better route running then what you saw this year. 90% of a WR coachs job is make sure recievers understand the offense and are in the right position at the right time.

Apparently, you must think we had a offense that was out-of-position and had poor route running. Frankly, you must not know much about football.

Our WR’s had over 5,000 yards recieving, 51 TD’s and only 1 fumble all year. What a poorly coached group. Dumb ass!

Those butterfingered corps that’s among the best in the league.
Bennett didn’t do shit for Starks. He was held out late last year because he didn’t have the practice habits remember? That’s coaching flaws right there my friend.
Bennett might be a great guy and was a great player but that doesn’t necessarily translate into coaching material. Sorry!

What Bennett did last year with the RB’s was amazing. Honestly, Starks was enough to get us a SB victory. He also did a great job this year with the WRs. He is a solid coach that appears to be able to get guys to perform at a level well beyond their raw talents. Seems like he is a real players coach as well. I think he should get the shot at OC.
