Coach Sherman should really study Coach McCarthy’s way of coaching! It might be to late but worth a shot if Sherman wants another coaching job! Sherman could not get the Packers up for those big games! Alot of them were very disappointing and some of Shermans draft picks were disasters! But he is a class act as respecting the game and players! I’m sure he’s watch the Packers every Sunday. The best of luck Mike!!!

The Packers didn’t dump Sherman the way A&M did, that’s for sure. I recall that TT gave Sherman a contract extension so Sherman wouldn’t be a ‘lame duck’ coach. TT worked with him for a year and then determined they were not a good fit. So the Packers let him go with a nice parting check. If you’re going to go, that’s about as ‘fair’ as it happens in the football business. Plus, look at how things worked out. Can’t argue with recent history.

I also remember when Sherman was fired by TT he took out ads in the local GB papers thanking the fans and the organization. Total class move there by Sherman.

Now, to get fired while on a recruiting trip? That’s either classless or Sherman knew of the impending doom and went on the trip anyway, forcing the school to sack him like that. I wonder to what level these dudes play the political game. A TV movie? Ah, not even on Limetime.

Yeah, I hear ya, man. I also don’t get it. You only single-handedly destroyed the Lambeau mystique that it took 50 years to build, and allowed Brett Favre to throw interceptions like Jeff George on ecstasy. I also have no idea why you would be terminated.

And apparently, the Sherm thought A&M should be content with .500 ball. Hahaha… kinda funny.

It is pretty ridiculous that these colleges can just throw away $6 million while raising tuition on their students.

Your a publicly funded institution. Stop spending millions of dollars on one mediocre coach, only to fire his ass prematurely so you can spend millions on some other loser.

If I was a college coach and I got shitcanned like this, I wouldn’t give a rat’s ass. I’d be on the way to the bank to cash the $5.8M buyout check while laughing my ass off.

Where can I sign up for one of these gigs where if you do an average job and get canned, they throw a shithouse full of money at you when you leave.

If I were a head coach I would question whether or not I could work for an organization that has demonstrated such an unprofessional manner. It speaks volumes of the character in charge of their athletic dept.
