“I am truly happy with the money I am getting, therefore, I don’t really need anymore above what I am getting now, so management can spend the extra money they are saving on me to keep the best offensive line in front of me and the best receivers around me. Moreover, this will give them the extra money to keep the best defense in league too.”

It takes a lot of money to keep a team together and anyone/everyone here knows, if the Packers front office can keep great players around Aaron, the sky is the limit to what this team could do winning championships and that is what its all about.

Unless AR starts grumbling the earliest I would address his contract is after the 2012 season. There still would be 2 years left on his contract. When he signed the deal both sides were happy.

What if TT gave AR an extension and then had trouble signing CM3, Tramon, Jennings, etc. This is still a business and TT has to manage a salary cap.
