Rogers still has to finish the season. I was a huge Montana fan as a teenager. I remember seasons and games when they had no running game, when Montana had to scramble from defensive players just as good as now,just like Rogers has too, but Montana still made the super accurate passes even with a little less arm.And are you all saying Jerry Rice running full speed with a safety on Him was not up to todays speed? Bull crap Rice could still outrun some of them. I agree they are close and Rogers may pass Montana, but what ticks me off with most of you guys is You don’t really love football or you would have respect for what Montana did, and especially for what Favre did for the Packers fans. Why can’t you Packers fans enjoy having two of the best
QB’s of all time without bickering about it all the time. Favre didn’t rip you out of nothing. He gave you alot of good seasons and helped Rogers be who He is

Bad argument supported by flawed logic. Increases in speed, skill and pace are relative to all aspects of the game and serve to equalize generational comparisons.

Montana won because he was smarter than everybody else, played to his strength’s and understood and played within a system he exploited to max effect with an outstanding group of players around him.

Sound familiar…

James Jones talked about the -Run/Pass – Option that GB runs on the Larry McCarren show. They call 2 plays in the huddle, one a run and one a pass. Whichever formation the defense shows, Aaron selects the option which favors the Pack the most during that particular play. Genius, pure genius.

Remember this time last year, Rodgers critics would argue he wasn’t elite, was 0-1 in playoffs…….You dont hear a thing like that anymore. When Favre said he was suprised Rodgers didnt win sooner….I’d argue Rodgers would’ve have won sooner, if McCarthy replaced Favre in the 2007 NFCCG before Favre threw the pick at the end of the game. Ending the S B run.

Rodgers is so good, that having to lay out, all the reasons why he’s the best, would be insulting to him. (And there are countless reasons why he is currently the best, and barring injury, may prove in the future, that he is the best, of all time. With that said, he has more work to do, but what a “great start”.
