Have any of you actually met Bishop? I have. I didn’t find him to be in any way stupid, retarded, dumb or any other derogatory phrase you would like to use. He was well spoken. He was extremely polite and very gracious. He signed two pictures for my kids. He shook my hand, and said “thank you” Very nice guy – and more mature than I certainly was at his age.

Some of the biggest idiots to ever go to college have played in the NFL. To say you have to have brains to be a pro football player is like saying you have to be a good citizen to play in the NBA.

Ever talk to Brett Fullwood? How about Leon Lett? Some of these guys cannot spell their names, and thats not a wise crack its the truth.

Ok, first off, let’s just ignore a discourse on intelligence, written by someone who spells the word “phrase” with an F. Maybe we can move on and do something positive here today. Of course this comes from a guy who spells Kristofer with a K and whose last name is not Kristofferson.

As for Bishop’s intelligence, doesn’t anyone remember an episode of Inside Lambeau from last season in which Bishop was interviewed? The fucking guy writes god damn screen plays! He is far from dumb. He is eloquent, he scored above average on the Wonderlic test, and he has played at a level which suggests he might not be a penny-eating retard like the authors of the previous two posts.

Commenting on Rebelgb’s comment: So you are saying he is the man, but he is not intelligent? You say he is not only not intelligent, but your frase suggests that he is even worse off than just that. BUT he can hit. …. ?? I would think if Desmond Bishop is playing at an all pro level, then the man, at least, has to have an above average I.Q. It would be tough to play at that level with even an above average I.Q., so considering the percentage of players who are all pro’s with near-genius level I.Q.s would suggest that you, sir, should be the target of your second sentance and/or Desmond Bishop, indeed, is the man with, more than likely, a near genius level I.Q. (if not genius). Although, you are partially right in that he is the man and he can hit, but think about it man.
