Agreed Shields was a bonehead on that INT. However, I still think that the guy that hit him should get fined for a helmet to helmet hit. Why should it be only defensive players that can’t hit to the head? Shields now has a concussion and may miss the MN game.

Yeah, if the Packers were playing a better team, maybe they actually would have had to score in the 2nd half.

In this game, they didn’t.

Hey, terrible frickin 2nd half, but you know the team is frickin good when winning by 3 TDs isn’t enough!

What the hell good does driving the ball up and down the field do you if you only score 3 points??

Frankly I wasn’t that disappointed by the second half play. The offense did seem to be a bit uninspired, but I was happy to see that the defense didn’t give up any more points.

My biggest frustration was actually with Sam Shields. He makes a beautiful interception and then acts like a total idiot and runs around in the endzone for a while preparing to bring the ball out and then gets clobered. That’s not smart football. If you make an INT in the back of the endzone, take a knee and then celebrate. His play has improved dramatically in the past two games and I would hate to see another injury, especially because this one was so avoidable.

All in all a good win. Rodgers wasn’t happy at the end of the game so I expect a hard week of practice and for us to destroy Minnesota this weekend. (By the way, the interception was not his fault.)

At the end of the day a W is a W. Not every game will be a denver style beat down, if you play like shit at least win, Team won thats all that counts. I think as packer fans we’re used to such amazing play that when its okay we’re not satisfied. The team needs some heat on them in order to produce (see saints and falcons games) if the other team bring nothing there is no fire in the packers.

I was happy the Pack looked like dog shit the second half, I only wish that it happened the week before the bye. The second half of this game will give the coaching staff a legitimate excuse to get on the players and chew some ass about the poor play, without having a loss. I think we see a more inspired game next week because of it.
