Now They Start Speculating About Donovan McNabb’s Job
The [intlink id="35" type="category"]Minnesota Vikings[/intlink] fell to 0-3 after losing to the [intlink id="126" type="category"]Detroit Lions[/intlink] on Sunday.
The team has blown three double-digit second half leads and quarterback Donovan McNabb has been average at best.
He’s thrown a whopping two touchdowns in three games. He opened the season with a 39-yard passing performance in a loss at Dan Diego. Sunday, McNabb missed several open receivers.
Meanwhile, first-round pick Christian Ponder is sitting on the bench.
So, the Minnesota media is wondering whether coach [intlink id="1342" type="category"]Leslie Frazier[/intlink] might make a quarterback change?
“I don’t think the quarterback position is our problem right now,” Frazier said. “No. We’re not thinking about anything at the quarterback position.”
On the season, McNabb has thrown for 478 yards and completed 58 percent of his passes. He has a quarterback rating of 78.1.
The Vikings probably have some hope, though. They play Kansas City this week.
The Chiefs have given up a league-leading eight touchdown passes.
