The big newspapers cant even touch a write up like this. They're too afraid that they'll sound like homers. So keep this stuff coming, its why I keep coming back.

Hahaha... Catwalker, you are aware that your team has no shot at the playoffs this year, right?

You could be decent next year, and you will get some wins this year, but there is no way you are any better than 4th in your division.

Write it down.

He did make some nice throws, but you cannot blame all the problems on drops. Rodgers missed his targets way too frequently.

Look, the guy is allowed to have an off game AND we still won. Don't get me wrong, he's still a great QB and I wouldn't want anyone else leading our team and organization. But, looking at the game objectively, he wasn't completely on.

Easy genious. I would not get too excited about how good or bad the Panthers are going to be this year after 2 games. Same goes for the Packers at this point. Let's see where things are at by week 8.

The Packer won this game but if the Panthers get the ball rolling and some wins, they will beat the Packers post-season. So take your win and pray not to see the Panthers in the playoffs. Remember we have a new coaching staff with only 3weeks of preparation. There is no way the game was supposed to be that close.

Rodgers made some excellent completions last Sunday. The only problems were drops by recievers and sloppy D. If it wasn't for Rodgers' poise and accuracy we would have lost. I'm glad we have a level headed quarterback in A- Rod, who cares what expression he has on his face as long as he gets the win.

Good point, Ryan, in that Rodgers was about as demonstrative on the field as we've seen him in quite a while.

As anyone can see, the analysis is long enough, but I would like to add some comments after the fact.

The Panthers should provide good practice for the Bears. Their most frequent defense was the Cover 2 with their corners playing tight coverage at the line. That is essentially what the Bears play, though the Panther LBs don't cover near the ground that the Bear LBs do.

Randall Cobb was one of the few Packer WRs who was able to consistently get open against tight coverage in the middle of the field. Cobb could really make a difference against the Bears if the Packers would utilize him.

With Lang and Bulaga on the line, the Packers are clearly a better run-blocking team. Scott Wells has also blocked well this year so far.

Clifton is fading and might be the Packers worst OL right now. Is there any chance Derek Sherrod could start looking like a 1st round draft pick.

Great game by Morgan Burnett. Ironically, with him making plays, the Packers are much better prepared to lose Collins than they ever have been before. In fact, in this game, Collins was nearly invisible until he got hurt.

The coaches get at least some of the blame for the slow start. The Packers defensively seemed convinced the Panthers would want to run the ball and left the base defense on the field for too long on the first drive. And as for what McCarthy's plan for the offense was, I have no idea.

James Starks needs to get the ball more. He is a big man that can wear a defense down. His pass catching skills are also the clear reason why the Packers let Brandon Jackson go.

This was the worst game all around game from Rodgers I can remember. The late 2nd quarter drive was surprisingly awful. I loved MM going for it on 4th and 5, but I didn't like Rodger's decision to throw a back shoulder pass to Jennings. Get the sure 5 yards and then try that play.

I was at the game and frankly, Rodgers was more frustrated than the fans were. He was constantly showing negative emotion after his mistakes and when he was on the sidelines (and the cameras weren't on him) he didn't look happy. (And he shouldn't have been.)

He needs to play substantially better against the Bears. Sure, we beat them in the NFC Championship game, but Rodgers didn't play well in the 2nd half and we almost let a 3rd string QB come back and beat us. Plus, I still have memories of that God awful Week 3 MNF game last year when we had 18 penalties.

I think Rodgers will look much better Sunday. Having Tramon back will be nice but losing Collins might be equally hard.
