Regarding MM’s make-up, per the make-up artist herself “make-up was cleared by all-NFL crew that was on-set, including the producer”.

I cannot believe the first game hasn’t started yet and I am already having to defend MM. Give the guy a break – he didn’t even mention the girl’s name!

I love this blog and read it daily (and am not going to give an empty threat to stop doing so ) but I do think that calling anyone, especially the coach who just won our beloved team a Super Bowl title, a “fat, ugly bastard” is stupid.

I didn’t notice it when I watched it. Also, I am sure that he was somewhat joking about it. It is hard to pick up on sarcasm when it is typed. Have liked MM since day 1, and I’m happy our coach!

The special was AWESOME, as expected.

I thought MM looked a little “odd”, but I didn’t think he looked “terrible.”

I wonder how much of this was a joke by MM.

Really, I don’t care either way. It was actually refreshing to hear these guys be so candid during the special. The comments about Matthews might be the best part of the show.

I guess this all depends on just how bad his makeup job was. If it really is as bad as he claims then I don’t see a problem with this. If McCarthy screws up and loses a game to bad coaching I don’t expect anyone to politely tell him behind closed doors — why should a damn tv/movie makeup artist not be held publicly accountable, too?

I agree… AND this nothing to do with McCarthy’s coaching–if you think so you’re just as dumb!

That was a low move in general by McCarthy. Terrific coach but he had the right to feel this way but def should have transmitted this message a better way or next year when they are doing his makeup again lol
