John Boehner Is A Dick
House Speaker John Boehner is either an oblivious prick or made a calculated political move designed to make president Barack Obama look bad this week.
Either way, he’s a real fucking cunt in our eyes.
Obama begrudgingly moved his long-anticipated speech on jobs and the economy from Sept. 7 to Sept. 8 at Boehner’s request. The Green Bay Packers open their season against the [intlink id="234" type="category"]New Orleans Saints[/intlink] on Sept. 8.
Why did Boehner make this request? A fucking Republican presidential debate.
You know, for an election more than a year away. I’m sure everyone has been awaiting this debate with bated breath, unlike the start of the NFL season or the president’s speech.

Obama’s speech is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET. The game is scheduled for 8:30 ET.
At least one Wisconsin station has committed to interrupt the president’s speech for the Packers game if they overlap. I guess those of us in the rest of the country just have to hope Obama talks fast.

And President Obama did contact Speaker Boehner’s office abut the date. They raised no objections. So he announced the speech for Wednesday and then the Speaker objected. First time ever Congress has not called a Joint Session when the President requested it.

That would have made for a better debate on the topic of job creation! America could get to hear the Obama approach and the republican approach.
