I’m not saying that we will kick Wells out of town after the season but the possibility remains that he COULD leave. McDonald could probably bulk up a little more but he has be okay in camp this year. He has still been good enough to relegate Evan Dietrich-Smith to 3rd team and if both are on the same unit than ED-S slides down to tackle. I think McDonald is a lock to make the roster this season.

I’ve heard that he banged up his ankle against the Colts so I’m betting that he is kept out of contact until the Saints game. He has already shown that he is good to go as long as he is healthy. I did not see him on the sidelines during practice at all so I’m assuming that he was doing something recovery-related in the Hutson center or otherwise.

He had some decent runs up the middle but he muffed one of his kickoff returns.

Cobb was dressed and went through the walkthrough but did not participate in any team drills. I would be cautiously optimistic about his chances to play against the Saints.
