[intlink id=”143″ type=”category”]Charles Woodson[/intlink] will turn 35 in October and is entering his 14th NFL season, but the veteran Green Bay Packers cornerback doesn’t seem to have any designs on retiring anytime soon.
When asked how many more years he planned on playing, Woodson left his future in the Packers’ hands.
“I don’t know,” Woodson said. “As many as they’ll have me in Green Bay.”
Woodson doesn’t really have any reason to be thinking about retirement. He’s two seasons removed from winning the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year award and is coming off a season where he recorded 92 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, five forced fumbles and a touchdown.
Woodson also said the broken collarbone he suffered in [intlink id=”1425″ type=”category”]Super Bowl XLV[/intlink] is fine and he expects to be ready for action by the time the 2011 season begins, whenever that might be.
