Not so fast...I think Flynn deserves at least a 2nd round pick and I think the more "desperate" G.M.'s would agree for these reasons...

1. He was an NCAA champion at the QB position and undoubted team leader during his time at L.S.U. (Dont worry, I'm building up..)

2. His time spent behind a Super Bowl-winning QB (4 years) AND his performance in his first substantial action in the NFL (24-of-37 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns to Rodgers' 18 of 26, 201 yards, one touchdown, no interceptions) is reminiscent to the story we know about our now beloved, Aaron Rodgers.

3. He's a product of Mike McCarthy's now coveted "Quarterback School". GM's and the like know there's certainly something to be said for that.

4. There's recently been an insurgence of young, athletic quarterbacks in the NFL and Matt Flynn seems to certainly fit the mold as he is actually faster than the somewhat fleet-footed Aaron Rodgers. This, to go along with his seemingly apt decision-making skills and considerable accuracy..

The Packers need to be the offensive team they are and open some games up so Flynn can get more real time in and boost his value.
Otherwise,we may see him leave and get nothing in return as opposed to what we should be able to get.
IMO,this kid can be the man for a team.
