There is no damn way we draft Barry Sanders in ’89. In Lindy Infante, we had a coach who threw the ball more than MM does. Plus, we had a talented RB in Fullwood. Talented but incredibly stupid. Yes.

And Monty, everyone called him Fumblewood. I think that was a pretty universal nickname. Just like Estes Hood became a euphamism for getting burned.

Thank God we didn’t draft Deion Sanders, who would have played 4 years in GB and then bolted in free agency first chance he got.
