Sure, keeping Flynn would be awesome. But you guys realize he is a FA next year right? Getting something out of him sure as hell beats letting him rot on the bench one more year and then getting no compensation for developing him.

I’d like to see him stay, I like the depth we have at the QB position.

I hope we trade him this season because for a team that just won the superbowl we have quite a lot of needs. Also for a team that just won the superbowl you need more competition for places, we dont want players getting cocky because their world champion.

Flynn is only under contract through 2011. Everyone is assuming the four year mark for free agency returns in the next CBA. If they are going to trade him it will need to happen soon.

Yeah, the labor situation probably means another year for Flynn. Otherwise, I’m fine with trading him. He has developed into a decent QB who obviously can run our system. However, you could see in both games he played that he doesn’t have the arm that Graham Harrell has.
