I think you might be on to something Andy…Lovie might have just used the injury excuse in an attempt to hide the fact he decided to bench him…obviously that blew up in both their faces because now everyone thinks poor Jay is a Quitler uh I mean quitter! Since he was sucking it up so bad out there your explaination makes a lot of sense! Obviously either way now they find themselves in a public opinion disaster heading into 2011 and Packers fans have gotta love it…the super bowl championship is the cake, the vikings ship sinking is the icing, and the bears PR nightmare the cherry on top!

My opinion is that he wasn’t throwing well, and hannie came in and put some things together. I wish cutler would have stayed on longer because he just wasn’t moving the ball at all, and looked terrible. I also think the coaches decide to bench the players, so the coaching staff pulled him because he sucked not because he quit
