If we were to trade him for a 2nd, wouldn’t it make sense to draft a QB there? I know Brian Brohm bombed, but that’s never a sure thing.
I think it’s crazy to draft a late round QB just because we’ve done well there. It’s no certainty we’ll continue to get lucky with late round and FA QBs.

The 2nd coming of Matt Hasselback,who they let go way to cheap. Nothing less than a 2 for Flynn at this point in time. I say wait until pre-season and let the hype grow until a QB goes down with another team and they get desperate for a trade.

His trade value may not be higher than it is right now, but it is a risky proposition to trade Flynn and keep Harrell (or someone else) as Rodgers’ backup. However, after this season and the moves Thompson made to acquire players like Walden, Peprah and Zombo, key players in the road to the SB, i trust TT would know what he is doing if Flynn is moved

With the likelyhood of an 18 game season,a strong system smart backup QB will become imperative to have as even with an expanded roster,a smart coach will want to strategically sit his starter in two games for rest and the benefit of not rushing the starter back to quickly from a concussion or other week to week injury.
Flynn is that guy now but,with the QB school of MM and Harrell being IMO an underrated guy,trading Flynn for a good 2nd and a chance of a 1st this year is an absolute as we can get a QB in 2012 draft.
With a rookie salary being a definite and the probability of the Packers getting many comp picks from FA losses,we may get lucky and get Luck to replace Rodgers a few years later if need be.

The way TT builds from the draft I think it would be a good move to get a 2nd round pick for Flynn if we can. Move Graham up and have TT find a QB in a later round. I’d go for a draft pick.
