I’m so excited about this game I can’t sleep, & its WAY too early to start drinking or I’ll pass out before kick off.

The O-line, special teams (field position & D), and D-line will win this game. No matter how well Aaron plays, we could still blow it (See AZ game 2009) if we don’t show up. the WHOLE TEAM has to play the kind of football we Pack fans KNOW this team is capable of for 4 quarters. And I think they will.

No analysis in this pick, just heart….

We’ve overcome so much this season & no matter what happens, I’m proud of the Pack. I wrote this season off due to injuries & other issues right after our loss to Detroit. I’m so fucking happy the Pack proved my conclusion-jumping ass DEAD WRONG.

I want this win SO bad for Donald Driver, for Charles Woodson, for Chad Clifton, Mark Tauscher & for the all the other veterans I forgot to mention.

I want this win for the ‘new kids’ like Clay & Tramon, & the “Who the fuck is that guy??” players like Zombo & Walden because as everyone knows, you never know when you will get another chance.

I want this win to shut the mouths of the football talking heads about Aaron Rodgers’ ability to win it all in a clutch situation & to take over & lead this team.

I want this win because I like my husband, I like my kids, but I LOVE THE GREEN BAY PACKERS.

All good points, but I’m taking the conspiracy theory route:
The Packers are just too good from a talent and a chemistry and personal front to fail here.
Pittsburgh is a great story, but they have a rapist and a head=hunter or two on their defense. Honestly, people in the NFL community expect hard hits, but I’d bet not one of them expects cheap shots to take people out. It’s not NASCAR ya know?
Harrison is his own worst enemy, what a goof, scoff at the league that he will continue to play like he does, regardless of other players safety only plays into the owners’ belief that the players aren’t that united.
Either way, I contend that the Packers are the best media win this year, I”m excited about the Charles Woodson and Donald Driver stories. Mark it folks, it’s the best story like New Orleans was last year.

The Packers are good. The Steelers are evil. Both will wear yellow pants. Good MUST prevail. It must! Mustn’t it?

We’re the better team. We’re the healthier team both physically and mentally. Oh sure we have injuries and guys that are banged up, but we no longer sweat that shit. It is now a way of life for us we have almost come to embrace. We’re stronger right now and primed for a big effort.

I don’t care if we can’t run. I simply don’t care and I don’t think the Packers care either. One thing MM has improved on is coming up with creative protection schemes from obvious passing formations. Multi back sets, tight ends in the backfield, and motion will be a common theme when we’re not spreading them razor thin. Seriously…I could see Starks having 20 carries for 42 yards with most of those coming in the 4th quarter in mop time.

Fuck this Steeler team…they’re old, tired, beat down mentally, physically, and the most important factor, they are simply out-manned.

If we don’t play young and jittery and completely collapse…I think we handle this team. They’re going to score 21 on our D? I don’t see it. Only if our offense and/or special teams help Pittsburgh.

I said it for the Falcons game and I’ll say it again. We are fully capable of blowing this team out. I expect a balls to the wall, throw it 70% of the time, air assault on the Steelers. Although I would not be afraid to play very conservative and punt the first possession or two based on how our team’s nerves are, especially Aaron’s. Although Aaron often seems immune to pressure, as he has played with it since snap one, it would be a mistake to auto-assume he won’t be feeling the jitters. An early mistake is the worst case scenario. Let’s hope we can win the toss and defer and settle in.

In my opinion, and many others, the Steelers success is tied to Mendenhall getting off and I completely agree. Without a successful running attack, I truly think this game is over for the Steelers. Can they move the ball on us? Seeing how they ripped the Jets, I guess it’s possible but it’s going to have to be on the edge where Charles Woodson will always be lurking…and he doesn’t miss often.

We’re going to rip them a new asshole as long as they don’t cheap shot our QB…which is entirely possible.

I can’t fucking stand that drama queen James Harrison. Oh poor fucking me, the league won’t let me try and decapitate defenseless players so I can feel like a tough guy. That guy can go fuck himself with Ben Roethlisberger (All of him, not just the little guy he uses on freshly roofied sorority girls). Also, I hope that prick Hines Ward tries to cheap shot Matthews, so in turn Matthews can rip off one of Ward’s legs and beat him to death with it.
