Most people missed the other two polls listed with only about a quarter of the respondents filling in the follow up questions. The first question is, "Which team has the coaching edge?" The second is, "which is a bigger question mark; Jay Cutler's inconsistency or Green Bay's rushing game?"

But both polls have over 50,000 votes. If that evenly breaks down to 1000 per state, that is pretty good for statistical analysis. Since I do this for political candidates for a living let's geek out a little and try and break the numbers down.

Both polls favor Green Bay with Illinois being the only state that is pro-Bears. McCarthy and the running game lost some ground statistically in the overall national approval versus win favorability, but there are some doubters at Soldier's Field.

Only 56 percent of Illinois voters believe Smith is the better coach. That is a nine point drop versus the 65 percent of Flat-landers who believe the Bears will win. McCarthy sees a four percentage drop in Wisconsin, but still enjoys a 88 percent approval rate.

As for Cutler, only 52 percent of Land of Lincoln voters think the Pack's running game is the bigger question mark, a 13 point drop as I write this. Thirty percent in the Dairy State doubt their running game, a 22 point drop, but still 18 percent better than those south of the border.

What's it all mean? Packer Backers feel their offense depends on Rodgers' arm, despite James Starks welcome spark. And while Cutler had some near picks, perhaps its time to start talking about replacing Lovie Smith, who can't seem to put together an offense.

You should have heard Jim Miller on sirius radio today. I thought after a player stopped playing & became a member of the "SPORTS MEDIA" you were not suppose to be BIASED towards yer old team. That punk Miller was gross, so one sided I had to turn it off. Labeled the bears "the most complete team left of the 4" What kind of lettuce is that punk smoking ??

Bears fans are delusional.

When I was scanning through the radio channels here in Chicago (it's the WORST place I've ever been for radio, even Oshkosh was better) I heard one of the local sports talk guys getting bashed by callers for saying Aaron Rodgers was an Elite Quaterback, as if he'd just made the most outrageous claim in the history of sports radio.

You should post the graph that asks the nation who they WANT to see in the Super Bowl. The only state that was to see the Bears is Illinois, with 76% of the voters hoping that the Packers make it! Gotta love the Packer Nation!
