Here’s Another Green Bay Packers Rap Song
It’s like any jerk who sings a song about the Green Bay Packers and posts a video on YouTube can get some space on this blog… yeah, that’s pretty much the case.
I’m kidding. It either has to be something that’s unintentionally funny or has to be something I figure someone might find cool.
Aaron Rodgers Rock & Roll is an example of the former. Higher Education’s Feelin’ So Fly Like A Cheesehead, which — and I am not shitting you here — I’ve been told is gaining some notoriety around Wisconsin, is an example of the latter.
So, here’s a little more Packers music by someone named J Byrd, who looks like he’s 12 and either has a great producer or someone else rapping most of his lyrics. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t know too many 12-year-olds whose voices sound quite this, uh…. polished.
Anyway, I give you Green and Yellow by J Byrd.
For my money, I’ll still take We Go Green Bay.

It’s dope. It’s also a redo of Wiz Khalifah ‘Black and Yellow’ which is pretty major right now. He is from Pittsburgh so we can assume it is an homage to the Stealers. Compared to most of the crap Packers music out there this one is perfect for a tailgate with woofers.

This is apparently a popular song to redo as here is Northwestern’s version – “Purple & White.” Incidentally the dork rapping on it is Chet Haze, better known as Chet Hanks, better known as Tom Hank’s black sheep son. He is a student at NU (so can’t be too much of a black sheep). Enjoy…

Also, as to the Packers song – drinking game: Half your tailgate drinks everytime J Byrd says “Green” and half drink everytime he says “Yellow.” Good luck remembering the game….

Pretty sure this is the Lil’ Wayne song that was just dropped. It is called Green and Yellow and is a response to the Black and Yellow song by Wiz.

Lil Waynes “Green and Yellow” is NOT a response to Wiz Khalifas “Black and Yellow” there was a group not too long ago who made a song “Green and Yellow” so its going around Wisconsin like crazy with people singing “green and yellow, green and yellow…” I’d have to say its just coincidental that Wiz is from Pittsburgh and his teams color are black and yellow and they play in the super bowl with the packers, who are green and yellow.
