Those folks who are simply disregarding everything in order to call Sterger a whore appear to be taking a somewhat myopic view of this whole thing. Yes, Sterger is handling the thing with all the grace and tact of a 6th grade girl gossiping with her friends. I don’t deny this.

But does that REALLY erase any culpability Favre has here? Even if she provided everything he asked for, does that make him less of a jerk for asking? However she handles the situation doesn’t (or shouldn’t) affect how it makes Favre look for allegedly coercing a Jets employee to give him her number, etc.

So at the end of the day, Brett is (allegedly) a perverted, insensitive jerk, and Sterger is (allegedly) an enabling whore. Neither one are to be emulated, but both are culpable to some degree or another. I personally believe it’s more Favre, but that’s all dependent on your value system and perspective of the situation.

The headline of this very article is why nothing is being done. Nobody wants the truth…you’re just as guilty as the NFL. You/every media outlet uses Favre to gain readers/viewers (ie. your own personal gain). Don’t chastise the NFL for doing the same. There’s a reason *NOBODY* from *ANY* media outlet has pressed her lawyers to admit or deny whether Sterger was actively texting back, or even ask whether she went ahead and sent him the video he allegedly requested…doesn’t matter. Just take the allegation, run with it…let Favre & his kids deal with the aftermath.
