Apparently, Frazier has learned absolutely nothing from his predecessor. Also, I don't know how this guy gets any consideration as a head coach, he's a terrible defensive coordinator. Throughout his entire Vikings run, he's run that vanilla cover 2 scheme and it's worked because of great pressure from the front four. But now that the Williams' can't take steroids and Jared Allen has proven to be an overrated cock smoker, teams are tearing his defense apart. Has he made adjustments to compensate for this? No.

Brett Favre has come to his reality check , he knows that he's finished now in the NFL , it was lousy tackling on the pass play that scored the Vikings touchdown by the bears , that's the only reason Minnesota scored , ...the defense gave them that !
Favre thinks in his mind that he can still play , hell we all do as players but soon realize that Father Time has passed us by and all we have to talk about is those Glory Days ! ....Favre knows it now , what a pathetic way to end his career , ...instead of going out last year as runner-up he chose to bank his career on his aging talents and he ended up bankrupt !

Thank you for writing this. As a Packer fan, like most everyone else here, I'm thankful for what Favre did for Green Bay for so many years, but still angry at how things ended with him in Green Bay.

Like some others, I was somewhat entertained at Favre's missing the start against the New York Giants, and the general malaise which this year has brought to not just the Minnesota Vikings organization, but to him as well.

But now--after the concussion in the Chicago Bears game that he frankly shouldn't have started anyway--there isn't any entertainment. There certainly isn't any joy. It's just sad. Most of us wanted his career to end with a thud, but this is just getting sad and a little disconcerting to his wellness as a fellow human being.

As people who once supported him, and with people who now support him, we're begging him: Please retire. Please don't return. To the NFL: Please don't ask him to return. Just let what's left of his legend ride away.
