Singletary’s problem is organizational things. He can motivate sure, and he’s a motivated guy. But being a head coach takes a lot more than motivation; it takes being able to deal with minutiae. I was going NUTS when earlier in the year the 49ers were being hit with delay of game penalties in every game because they weren’t getting the offensive play call to the huddle fast enough. You tell me. What the FUCK is the value of being MOTIVATED when your coach can’t even get you the fricking play in time? How can a coach stand there and talk to you about being professional, and prepared, and being motivated to kick ass, when they can’t even get their shit together enough to make sure you have time to run the fricking play? I’m sorry, but Singletary can do all the motivational speaking he wants. Every time he failed to make sure his QB got the damn play call in time to avert a 5 yard penalty, his players were thinking- “This guy has his head in his ASS.”

First Derek Anderson was acting like a fool in his press conference and now Singletary is not exactly doing the greatest p.r. for his team. The 49ers need a coach that can keep his cool and lead. I can see him out of a job very soon.
