Nick Collins: Not this happy, today.

We knew Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins was going to be fined for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Dallas Cowboys receiver Roy Williams, Sunday night.

The NFL was swift in enacting justice, saddling Collins with a $50,000 fine, today.

The fine is high for a first-time offender like Collins, but the blow was just the type the NFL is looking to crack down on and they obviously wanted to make an example of the Packers safety.

Collins landed the shot to the back of Williams’ head midway through the third quarter and the receiver was on the ground for a few minutes afterward.

Collins has the right to appeal the fine.
