Expect the same all year. Dude is terrible against the run. Watch 2008 game film for evidence. You’ll see big run after big run, right at Kampman, and usually, you’ll see a TE or FB blocking Kampman, and probably burying him. Sorry, great guy, good pass rusher. Terrible against the run. His best bet would have been as a 3-4 end who primarily rushes the passer, aka. DeMarcus Ware, whose body type he resembles. As a 4-3 end, he has to play against the run, which is a sore spot for him.
