He IS a good back and can carry a decent offensive load. It has killed me that he’s been so injured because I’ve seen what he can actually do, and while I do like Ryan Grant, I am a little glad to see Jackson finally get his chance. Its time for him to either sink…or hopefully swim.

Jackson has some positives over Grant too. He’s one of the best pass blocking backs in the league and he has significantly better hands than Grant. I’m really hoping for more of a screen game now that Jackson is going to get a lot more snaps. That area were he really lags behind Grant is hitting the hole with authority, he tends to dance a bit in the backfield. He needs to retain his momentum or he’s going to get killed.
