It’s the signing bonus that creates the differential. Last year at 71 Matt Shaughnessy got 860K for a four year deal. We can expect about the same for Burnett because Thompson and most other GM’s like to buy RFA years with up front rookie money. It reduces the amount of RFA Tender bull shit they have to deal with.
