Watch Detroit Lions President Fail Field Sobriety Test
Lewand, presumably in better times
I’m not typically one to kick a guy when he’s down, unless that guy is a member of the Minnesota Vikings, but they’re kicking him in Detroit, so we may as well join the party.
I’m referring to Detroit Lions president Tom Lewand, who was arrested for DUI (or OWI as it’s apparently called in Michigan) over the weekend.
Lewand reportedly has a history of alcohol abuse and has received treatment for it, which is part of the reason I didn’t feel like piling on the dude when the incident happened.
The Detroit Free Press has no such qualms, though. They released Lewand’s arrest video, today.
You’ll see he has a bit of trouble staying in his lane and when he gets pulled over, he says he hasn’t had anything to drink. After that, it’s your typical DUI comedy of errors.
As always, you stay classy, Detroit!
