You are calling the Lions players young and dumb for predicting a possible playoff run.

First of all, they are no the only ones making this possible prediction. Veterans Jon Jansen and Jonathan Wade also believe that the Lions might make the playoffs.

Furthermore, the players did not guarantee anything. They just simply statied that it was a possibility and they would be disappointed if the Lions did not make the playoffs.

If a player on any team does not believe that they even have a chance at making the playoffs, then there is no point in even playing.

I would follow up with Imperical’s post to point out the humorous irony in the fact that you call out one of our players for “not having any idea” about something when you yourself clearly don’t have any idea yourself.

If you think the House of Spears isn’t aware of the last time the Lions made the playoffs, then you have clearly done zero research on the guy or been following him in any way.

I’m not bashing or hating or picking a fight or anything like that, but the #2 pick eats, sleeps, breathes, bleeds, and sh*** football. He is well aware of this team’s history and has been since the day after he put on that crisp, clean draft hat.

As for not being too bright, I wonder how many 5th grade test questions your TE could have gotten correctly after our “dumb” safety knocked him into a parallel universe last year. Bet your TE won’t be “dumb” enough to try that again anytime in the next 10 years.

Unrelated, I too will say nice job of having some picks signed; hopefully that ball starts rolling for us as well. That and I have always liked Driver, class act all around and I appreciate that no matter what team someone plays for.

Just thought I would check in over here in Packer land once again. I would like to say great job on signing three draft picks so far.
That’s about as friendly as I will get here.
I would like to point out that any player on my team, the Detroit Lions, had better believe they can win every time they step on the field for a game, or they had better just quit now.
Obviously, from what I have read here, Packer players are not held to the same standards.
Delmas is the new leader of the Lions defense, he has every right to speak out.
Suh is the #2 draft pick and the future hope for a revitalized Lions defense. He is getting tons of press here, and he is young.
Hold your players to a higher standard.
