Clay Matthews Gets No Respect
Green Bay Packers’ outside linebacker Clay Matthews is a lot like Rodney Dangerfield.
No, he probably won’t build an entire career off the same joke, but he seriously hasn’t been getting any respect lately.
First, Matthews was thrown in with his juicehead college teammate Brian Cushing, who tested positive for a known steroid masking substance and was suspended four games by the NFL, earlier this year. We were one of those who wondered about Matthews, until he unequivocally denied using steroids.
Now, the guy goes out of his way to participate in a charity golf tournament and the organizers can’t even spell his name right.
Real good.
That’s right. Clay Mathews. With one T.
Brilliant!
Matthews, of course, was pleased.

Something tells me Clay does not appreciate his friend and fellow Trojan referred to as a “juicehead”..note he still has that SI Cover as his wallpaper.
