First of Joel, I'd just like to say that who's fault is it that Aaron Rodgers got the beating he did? Who hasn't built a decent O-line since he came in to the organization? In FIVE years?! Who's probably going to break our qb in half before long? Ted Thompson.
Now, back to your question. Favre DID take a beating that badly, worse actually, in 06, when more than half the Packers on the squad were injured and TT did not sign any FAs for depth. Favre just got murdered that year and he was 37 or something. Much worse than Rodgers last year. So yes. I do think Favre couldve have taken the hits. He's Iron Man.

if you ask me, which nobody really did, i'd say the most interesting question about all this is, at favre's age, could he have taken the hits he probably would have taken if he were behind center for the pack last year? sure, he might not have held onto the ball as long, but he probably would have also launch a few more INTs.

And for the record, I like Aaron Rodgers. I liked Aaron Rodgers when he played at Cal, and when he was Favres backup for 4 years and some people were down on him. A-rod aint da problem. Its the two jackasses running the show that need to go.

Hey Matt Fox. First of all....go fuck yourself. Second of all....nice logic.

You're such a fucking moron. If I wanted to argue with the likes of someone as dumb as you I would first have to go get lobotomized leaving myself with roughly 3% of my current brain power, whereby I would still be a 3-1 favorite to kick your worthless ass in any form of debate.

By your argument and your demented sense of logic, I'll just say Brett Favre is a worse quarterback than Aaron Rodgers because he's thrown more career interceptions.

You're worthless, Matt Fox. I put the over/under on your IQ at 65.
