Nice response. However nowhere in my post do I request any personal credit for anything.

You must be an angry Vikings fan posing as a Packer fan to get so upset about something that was not even directed towards you, but was directed towards the many Vikings fans that post here and tell us how to behave.

So come clean. Just admit you love the Vikings because anyone reading this will know that’s the case.

And if you hate Packers fans like me….well you can get right in line with every other…..yes every other Viking fan and kiss my ass!

Hey Chitter, you say Brett owes us everything. You say we traded for Brett Favre. You say it was our insight as an organization. I didn’t know that Ron Wolf’s nickname was Chitter? Or are you Bob Harlin?

You didn’t do anything. You didn’t trade for Brett Favre. You didn’t coach him. You didn’t do anything for him. I will agree that he owes Rone Wolf for beliving in him and giving him a chance to play football. I agree that he owes Mike Holmgren and the coaching staff for teaching him to be a NFL player. They in turn owe him because he took that training and that chance and helped the Packers win a Super Bowl ring.

You on the other hand had nothing to do with it. You would have paid for your ticket and bought your Packer hat whether Favre came there or not. You would have supported them whether they were the 60s dynasty or the team that won one playoff game from 1968 to 1991. You had absoluetly nothing to do with the process. Stop giving yourself credit where it is not due.

I don’t have any love for the Vikings, but it is dilusional idiots like yourself that give the Packer fan base a redneck image. Go back to wearing your trucker hat in your trailer pretending that what you do has any impact on the Packers.

If you were running the Packers they would have gone the way of the Canton Bulldogs and would be relegated to playing pickup games along the Fox River with your hick mom taping the action and your sister taping the action, because they are the same person. God I hate Packer fans like you. You give the rest of us a bad name.

This article brings up a very good point to every whining, no-good, useless, piece-of-shit Viking fan that comes to this site to tell us that we’re all a bunch of ingrates for talking shit (aka…the truth) about Bert.

Bert owes us everything. The city of Green Bay. The Packers. Ron Wolf. Mike Holmgren. Brett Favre owes Green Bay his entire career and his life.

Do you remember as a Packer fan the day we announced we traded for Brett Favre? There wasn’t one person I know who…A) Knew who he was or B) Thought it was a good move.

I don’t necessarily agree with Glanville about him not succeeding anywhere but a small town like Green Bay…but here’s the real question: Were there any other teams lined up trying to obtain Bert’s services?

Fuck no. It was the Packers and the city of Green Bay that brought that drunken hillbilly to the forefront. It was only our insight as an organization and our commitment to an unproven commodity that allows for any of this to exist.

So remember Viking fan…every day within the next year where you dilute yourself into believing your team has a legitimate shot…you owe it all to the Green Bay Packers. All of it. Because your whole team is your quarterback….and your quarterback owes us everything.

The Packers didn’t, don’t, and never owed that choking redneck a goddamn thing.

I remember Bf (Before Favre) that the joke was Green Bay was “a drinking town with a football problem”.
There are more bars taverns and clubs per capita in
Green Bay then anywhere else (except for Oshkosh)….
