Seriously Jamie?
First of all, his first two sasons certainly did not “suck”. However, lets assume that they were below average. Do you really spend so little time following the NFL that you think that still means he shouldn’t be given a large contract extension as a RFA? Back to back pro-bowls in years 3-4.

AS for Harrell, and what boggles my mind is that people are so clueless as to make these types of statements. Why wouldn’t you keep him around at this point? You’ve already paid him, he’s earning very little and still has big time talent.

So I’m a little miffed at the “Women’s” take here. Collins so clearly deserves to be paid…but hey, don’t want him to get “greedy”?

You write from my heart!!! Loved the tongue-thru-the-cheek comment on Harrell. To think this guy’s still on the payroll boggles me.
I’m a little miffed @ Collins agent w/ that “It’s Nick’s time”…keep in mind, mr. agent, Collins has had two good years, and the first 2 really sucked! Maybe he owes GB!! Don’t get greedy~~
Sooo, Monty, what do you think about C-backs? The draft’s full of little people, so, how’s FA?

McCarthy did not proclaim Harrell 100% recovered in fact he said he was NOT 100% recovered but the best he has looked physicaly since being in Green Bay. One other thing – he was not a reach. He was on the board at number 1 for several teams.
