Al Harris Still Shooting For Six Months
Harris reiterates something he said after he got injured in late November. Although Harris’ type of injury – a torn ACL – typically takes between eight and 10 months recovery time, Harris is trying to speed the process up to six. That means he’s about halfway through the process and if his timetable is correct, he’ll be ready for football activity by June, well ahead of training camp.
Harris is training five times a week and as you’ll see in the video, he’s doing some running. What he isn’t doing, is cutting. The true test of Harris’ reconstructed knee will come at a later date when he’s fully able to make all of the moves a cornerback needs to make.
