It was short and sweet, but Vince Lombardi’s Super Bowl II pre-game speech was to the point and he probably didn’t have to say much to the 1967-68 Green Bay Packers anyway.

The team finished 9-4-1 that season and after beating the Dallas Cowboys in the Ice Bowl, would go on to handle the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl II, winning 33-14. It was Lombardi’s last game as Packers coach.

The speech is from a Jerry Kramer audio recording and aired yesterday on ESPN’s NFL Countdown.
