We like this guy better than the Vikings current QB.

Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Fran Tarkenton was giving current Minnesota Vikings and former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre the business before the season, and he’s still giving it to him.

Why?

Because like us, Tarkenton thinks Favre is dirty, filthy, scumbaggy, lying traitor.

Before the season this is what Tarkenton said about Favre.

I think it’s despicable. What he put the Packers through last year was not good. Here’s an organization that was loyal to him for 17, 18 years, provided stability of organization, provided players. It just wasn’t about Brett Favre. In this day and time, we have glorified the Brett Favre’s of the world so much, they think it’s about them. He goes to New York and bombs. He’s 39 years old. How would you like Ray Nitschke in his last year (playing for) the Vikings, or I retire, and go play for the Packers. I kind of hope it happens, so he can fail.

Well, it did happen and unfortunately, Favre didn’t fail. Still, that hasn’t changed Tarkenton’s view of the situation. Tarkenton, who played 13 seasons for the Vikings, didn’t like it then and doesn’t like it now, even though the Vikings are in the NFC Championship game.

“I didn’t like it then – he’s a Green Bay Packer – and I don’t like it now,” Tarkenton said at an Atlanta Press Club event, on Tuesday. “I could never imagine me retiring from the Vikings and playing for the Packers. So, it didn’t sit well with me and it still doesn’t.”

I applaud Tarkenton for sticking to his guns. It’s admirable and something no scumbag Minnesota Vikings fan has done this season.

You see, the Vikings and their suck-ass fans have never won anything of consequence. Ever. So who really cares how they get it done or who leads them there this year, right?

That’s the general consensus in Minneapolis. Satan himself could be playing quarterback if it resulted in a championship.

But back to Tarkenton.

There’s one point where he’s mistaken. He called Brett Favre a Green Bay Packer.

Brett Favre was a Green Bay Packer. He lost the right to call himself that the moment he signed with the Vikings.
