Sure, you are rooting for your hometown guy and that’s expected but you are fair and non-bashing towards my man, Darrelle Revis. I would say- though that if Revis wins- it may be actually on merit and not just the influence of someone like Peter King. That said, I have always respected and admired Charles Woodson and I think he is having a freakish year. Sure, I think that revis should win- based mostly on the fact that he is asked to do so much on the league’s no. 1 defense. But if Revis and Woodson shared the award- sort of a passing of the baton from one great corner to another, I wouldn’t mind. And your use of the word “travesty” doesn’t bother me at all- you are just rooting for your guy. I would say that the one travesty I could consider or at least two- is that if either that clown Allen or Darren Sharper would win the award- they are both free lancers whose statistics are pumped up by their respective teams’ schemes. I consider both Woodson and Revis complete, good old fashioned football players and both deserving of the award.
