Peppers does make sense, he loves to play in the 3-4, he wanted to go to a team that plays it. Also, he is a huge fan of Capers and Capers is a fan of Peppers. People need to put down the crack pipe and stop dreaming of Joe Thomas, not happening people. Tra is a good option because it actually could happen and should happen. I'm not a TT hater, but he needs to realize sometimes you need to get a solid free agent to get your team over the hump, we have way too much talent to be playing this way. If our line could block imagine the numbers that could be possible. 1st and 2nd round pick better be an OL and a LB, not particular order.

Peppers doesn't make sense for a couple reason. One - as you mentioned, the his contract situation is risky at best. Two, he, like Kampman is a DE not an OLB, so bringing him may not solve the problem.
