I believe you all have it backwords. A true Packer fan should be happy for Brett, that at 40, he still loves the game , and plays with more passion than anyone else in the league. Brett is a man first, and then a Packer. It should not matter what color the Jersey is. How many guarter backs played in pain as much as Brett, or make tackles where he could easily get hurt. Thompson did not want him back from the very begining. Brett was forced to give an answer in March, and at that time he did not think he could give 100%, as he always does, so that’s why he said he would retire.
You say you are a fan, then maybe you better get your facts straight. THE MAN YOU SHOULD BE CRUCIFYING IS MICHAEL VICK. gET YOUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT. Remember the time he took a pay cut, and all the money given to charities. Being slandered for not being able to make decisions, and having a passion for playing football, his God given talent, I hope you all are perfect. Shame on You.

Susan please don’t even call yourself a Packer fan. How can you say I am a Packer fan and Go Vikings in the same paragraph? You clearly do not understand division rivalries…how can you be a fan of BOTH teams? Impossible. If you want to convert to a Vikings fan thats great..infact, please do. Favre can take all the traitors with him to Minnesota. Good riddance!

Straight shooter? Like holding teams hostage while he flips, flops, flips, rolls over, flops and flips some more. His decision making is anything BUT straight. And he doesn’t tell it like it is either. He’s always making excuses JUST IN CASE things don’t work out well. Like the broken rib excuse, or the “I can’t promise i’ll play all 16 games.” By the way, when trainers offered to check his ribs he refused saying nothing can be done to fix’em anyway. What a tough guy. He makes these excuses so he can’t be held accountable for a poor season. But if he does play well, he’s the hailed as the bionic quarterback.

Susan, if you’re a Brett Favre fan rooting for the Vikings that’s fine. But you are not and never will be a True Packer fan.

I am a Brett Favre fan first and a Packer fan second. I will root for Favre no matter who he plays for. After he retires I will want the Packers to win. For now go Vikings and go Brett. He is honest and a straight shooter. If any of our words were dissected like his, a person would find inconsistency. Good thing we all are not under the microscope, like Favre none of us could measure up.
