Crown him GM, hire Mariucci as head coach for life? Short of that, anything they would have done would be perceived as unfair in Brett’s eyes. Plenty of players have been genuinely screwed by teams in the past, but they didn’t set out to sabotage their former employers. If he has a grudge with thompson, fine. But why should the fans have to deal with this?
