Montello,
I watched the Jets play-by-play yesterday and was shocked at my reaction. I found myself pulling for the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS on every play. When B. Favre threw the 56 perfect frozen rope to Jericho, I jumped from my chair and exclaimed much like I have for all 440+ TD's that B. Favre threw in a GB uniform. When I saw him streaking up the sidelines, with his traditional arms in the air, one figer raised to the heavens, grinning ear hole to ear hole, I felt whole again for the first time since his tearfull press conference. I will always be a GB fan first, but watching him play the position of QB like no other has before, reminded me of why he was so special to GB. I know tonight, that when A. Rod throws his first regular season TD as a starter in the "renevated house that Favre built", he will run to the sidelines. I'll be happy for the pack, but I will miss that child-like enthusiasm and mischiveous grin that I have become so accustomed to seeing in the green and gold.
Go Pack, but Favre 4ever.
